Fifth meeting of MeDynA GDR

We are pleased to announce that the 2024 annual meeting of our GDR MéDynA will take place from November 12th (afternoon) to 14th (noon).

For the registration, please fill the following file and send it by email to vlebrun@unistra.fr . Deadline for registration is September 15th.

For your abstract, please use the template  and then send it to: gdr.medyna@ibpc.fr.

Venue

The conference will take place at  Strasbourg University, on the campus Esplanade. We will be able to meet at in the  seminar room of ISIS (8 allée Gaspard Monge, 67000 Strasbourg, easily accessible from train station directly with Tram C).
The meeting should start at 3pm on the 12th, so you have time to travel on that day, and end around lunch time on the 14th.
 
Importantly, travel costs and hotel fees will be at your charge. To compensate, the GDR will pay for the seminar room, lunches (13th, 14th) and dinners (12th, 13th).  For participants from Strasbourg, a participation of 60 euros would be highly appreciated

  • By train:  You can easily come by train (TER to Obernai) with a connection at Strasbourg Central Station. If you come from far away, we suggest you these TGVs:
    > – Marseille – Strasbourg, the 12th (7H21-13H43), return the 14th (16H16 – 21H46)
    > – Montpellier – Strasbourg, the 12th (5H22 – 12H24), return the 14th (13H05 – 18H50)
    > – Bordeaux – Strasbourg, the 12th (8H54-14H29), return the 14th (14H01-20H02)
    > – Nantes – Strasbourg, the 12th (8H09 – 13H12), return the 14th (17H01 – 22H23)

  • By plane. You can reach the airport of Entzheim (check VOLOTEA airline for domestic flights), and then reach Strasbourg directly with the TER (Entzheim airport is a station on the TER line Strasbourg). 
Accomodations

Affordable rooms may be booked in the B&B hotel Nord Shiltigheim and Holiday Inn Nord Shiltigheim, that can be reached with the Bus G directly from Esplanade.
Similarly, hotels along the Tram C are convenient (eg Ibis Styles Stade de la Meinau; Appart’hôtel Adagio Access Strasbourg Illkirch, Ibis Styles Strasbourg Avenue du Rhin)
Otherwise, the closest hotels we could advise are : Hôtel Roses, Hôtel de l’Ill, Hôtel Esplanade.

The next  MéDynA plenary meeting will be from  12th (afternoon) to 14th (noon) November 2024. 

Communications : Presentations are an opportunity to showcase both our difficulties and our successes, with the aim of finding solutions from different backgrounds as well as contributing our own. Young people are therefore particularly encouraged to participate in the debates. As in every GdR meeting, we leave open the  question of defining who is considered young
